It’s November now, and Christmas is just over a month away, and by then, the whole month will be full of festivities. Everyone loves Christmas, the chance to reunite with family and friends, have a reunion dinner and go shopping at the mall, decorate the tree at home, exchange Christmas gifts and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La plupart des sapins de No\u00ebl naturels sont faits de sapin. Autrefois, on coupait souvent des arbres sauvages pour No\u00ebl, mais de nos jours, pour prot\u00e9ger l'environnement, on utilise g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement des for\u00eats \u00e9conomiques plant\u00e9es. Il faut entre 8 et 12 ans pour qu\u2019un petit arbre atteigne la bonne taille. Certaines entreprises d\u00e9terrent l\u2019arbre par les racines et le transplantent dans des parterres de fleurs et d\u2019autres endroits pour le d\u00e9corer \u00e0 No\u00ebl. Mais la perte de racines et les changements environnementaux caus\u00e9s par la fouille peuvent \u00eatre tr\u00e8s nuisibles \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 de l\u2019arbre ; lorsque le climat change, le taux de survie de ces arbres sera faible s'il y a peu ou pas de protection pour les grands arbres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another type of business is to simply cut the tree down and make it into a disposable item. After the holidays, most ways of disposing of Christmas trees are more environmentally friendly: in Sweden, for example, the government has a special website that tells people how to sort their garbage. Christmas trees belong to “garden waste”, and after they are put in the collection area, they can be shredded by a wood grinder and made into gardening wood chips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the United States, there is also a Christmas tree recycling program where residents bring their Christmas trees to a designated site where wood shredders<\/a><\/strong> and wood chipping services are provided. These Christmas tree chips are used in parks, ball fields and communities, and people can take them home for free for gardening. The wood chips can be used to keep plant roots warm in the winter and sprinkled on the soil to retain water. This recycling method is effective and environmentally friendly and helps residents solve their annual Christmas tree problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
